Mahama Petitioned To Sack ''Failed'' Seth Terkper

President John Dramani Mahama has been petitioned by political science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Dr. Alidu Seidu to as a matter of urgency sack the finance minister, Seth Terkper arguing that the finance minister has failed in managing the affairs of nation's economy.

Following reports of an imminent reshuffle by president Mahama, Dr. Alidu Seidu argues  Seth Terkper's exit would mean well for the party come the November elections.

The petition follows the resignation of two  cabinet ministers; the transport and power ministers who tendered in their resignation on the basis of scandals and non-performance respectively. Meanwhile government is yet to respond to the petition as it further battles with public outcries over tax impositions and fuel hikes.
