The season just kicked off and the various leagues look set for more intriguing moments. Chelsea sacked Jose Mourinho, Rafa Benitez was as well given the marching orders by Real Madrid and more looks like coming our way with the surprises. The expectations do set tongues rolling and our sports desk would like to join the fray.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea)
The Chelsea youngster, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was over looked by previous manager, Jose Mourinho and if life does not get better under Guus Hiddink, Loftus-Cheek could be heading away from the Stamford Bridge.
Former Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor, 31, is eyeing offers from Watford but the Guardian reports that Crystal Palace could outdo them.
Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Real Madrid are said to pay the asking price in Eden Hazard’s buy-out clause of £100m to sign Chelsea's play maker. The rumour is that, Chelsea could be prompted to bid for the signature of Real Madrid player, Gareth Bale now 26 years old despite Manchester United’s hope to sign the Wales international for £75m.
Joao Teixeira (Liverpool)
The Portuguese midfielder has not been used as any player his caliber would wish for. Having had a successful stint with Brighton last term, it all seemed like a good season with Liverpool’s first team was in the offing. Teixeira moving away would be ideal for his fledgling career.
Patrick Bamford (Chelsea)
The Chelsea player who once described his time at Crystal Palace as ‘terrible’, but Patrick Bamford who had a wonderful time with Middlesbrough who he nearly catapulted to the EPL last season. That achievement won him the Championship Player of the Year last season and a similar move seems increasingly likely as the likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy or Radamel Falcao at Chelsea looks a formidable trio to deter him to probably seek solace in a move away to a championship club.
Alex Pritchard (Tottenham)
Many are those who felt Pritchard would play a prominent part in Mauricio Pochettino’s plans this season but injuries and the emergence of Dele Alli have scattered his dreams. The star of last years’championships could be leaving Tottenham, for other opportunities.
Patrick Roberts (Manchester City)
Patrick Roberts has fallen victim to Manchester City’s strong foreign legion, has done little favour to Patrick Roberts who joined Manchester City at £11m from Fulham. A loan move to a Championship club would definitely seem sensible.
Alex Iwobi (Arsenal)
Alex Iwobi had an excellent time in Arsenal’s pre-season tournaments but the swift winger definitely would have to rub shoulders with well established Arsenal players. Alex might need to move away to say, a championship club and come stronger later at the bigger boys in the Premier League.
Daily Express are also spinning it that, Manchester City are eager to bring in manager Pep Guardiola and sign Lionel Messi in the summer as they seek to reunite the two.
The spin is also green that Guardiola could get the nod over Jose Mourinho at Manchester United after the former Barcelona coach spoke to both Manchester United and Manchester City. He turned down a Chelsea offer and is opened to Arsenal as well.
