President Mahama Pledges A House To Brave Taxi Driver

The ‘Brave’ taxi driver who knocked down the armed robbers who attacked a sales girl of the Koala Supermarket on Saturday morning has received yet another pledge, this time from the President of the Republic.

Vice President K. B. Amissah-Arthur made the announcement when he hosted the taxi driver, Nana Yaw, at the Flagstaff House this afternoon.

His heroics was applauded by the Veep. Amissah-Arthur thanked him for his selflessness and patriotism.

Already, the management of Koala supermarket has promised to buy him a new car as his commercial vehicle was heavily damaged when he rammed into the motorbike of the suspects Abaliku Sannie, 35, and Oko Quaicoo, 30.

A supervisor of the shop Gilbert Osabutey is also behind bars for allegedly conniving with the duo to rob the shop.

The two robbers, Obaleko Stanley, 35 and Oko Quarcoo, 30, attacked and shot a lady in her leg near the American Embassy at East Cantonments and tried to escape with her belongings.

The taxi driver courageously rammed into the motorbike of the thieves, forcing them into a nearby drain.

Meanwhile the management of Koala Supermarket in a statement has denied social mdeia reports that their employee was carry company money on her.
