The Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss Kwesi Nyantekyi was re-elected president of the West African Football Union (Wafu) Zone B at Tuesday’s general assembly’s election at the Movenpick hotel in Accra.
Nyantekyi won over Nigerien Jibrila Hima Hamidou.
The GFA boss will take charge for another four-year term for 2016-2020.
Delegates from Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Togo, Niger, Burkina Faso, were at the assembly.
Three of FIFA presidential aspirants, HRH Prince Ali Al Hussein, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa and Gianni Infantino who will contest in next month’s FIFA Presidential race are in Accra to canvass for the support of delegates at the ongoing congress.
