Accra Regional Police Begs Political Parties To Remain Peaceful During Elections

All political parties have been requested by the Accra Regional Police, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to fully support the call for peace and stability before, during and after the much anticipated elections slated for November 7th 2016.

Addressing the media after interacting with the various political parties, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare justified that the only move by which peace and stability would be achieved in the country would be exclusively based on the output of all political leaders.

The 2016 elections has been described by political experts as a decider to the success of Ghana's democratic principles following high stakes of post election violence. Such predictions have been based on concerns of political tensions between the two major political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) where a loss for both political parties is will remain a huge blow for the quest to achieving political popularity.
