Be Vigilante And Proactive Ahead Of Elections - Defense Minister Charges Ghana's Security

Defense minister, Mark Woyongo has charged all security personnel to exhibit the highest level of vigilance and proactivity especially when the nation prepares for the November 7th elections.   

Addressing heads of agencies under the Interior ministry, Mark Woyongo revealed much efforts were been put in place to secure enough funding from the finance ministry to recruit more security personell to boost the security balance in the country. The minister further charged all heads of agencies to be disciplined, law abiding and respected the rights of all citizens in order to avoid the negative perceptions that they were compromised.

Ghana’s political tension is reported to have risen as both candidates of the incumbent NDC and main opposition NPP are doing everything possible to cling on to power in the elections.
