Price Of Tomatoes Shoots Up In Second Week Of January

Customers are beginning to bear the brunt of  Ghana's economic challenges as the price of tomatoes increases by 4% across all local markets just in the second week of January.

Reporting on the hike in prices, Esoko Ghana reveals how the economic downturn has negatively affected the prices of foodstuff in Ghanaian markets.

The price hikes come in the wake of calls for the finance minister, Seth Terkper to resign considering the downturn in the country's macro-economic performance and also the down performance in investor confidence since 2014.
