Ghana To Get Hotter In March, Meteorological Agency Warns

The Ghana Meteorological Agency has warned of hotter temperatures in Ghana in March siting the increase in temperatures across the atmosphere as clear reasons.

Meteorologist at the Ghana Meteorological Agency, Kotoka International Airport, Tetteh Portuphy has explained that the development is to see some statistics on heat levels in the country rise as 30.5 degrees Celsius to 35.3 degrees Celsius, which represent maximum temperatures for the Coastal areas of the country, from December 28-, 2015, to January 3, 2016. He said this changed to between 30.2 degrees Celsius to 36.6 degrees Celsius, representing an increase of 1.3 degrees Celsius from December 4 2015 to December 10, 2016.

Tetteh Portuphy is thus calling on the general public to protect themselves during the humid period by putting on lighter clothing, drinking more water and ensuring good ventilation.
