Ahead of the weekend’s Arsenal versus Chelsea EPL game, Guus Hiddink's men received a surprising package in the post this week when Petr Cech's goalkeeping gloves were mistakenly delivered to their Surrey training ground instead of Arsenal's base in Hertfordshire.
The not too funny situation was reportedly caused due to the former Chelsea player’s address mistakenly not changed at Adidas, after the player who spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge suddenly left for Arsenal.
Adidas, Cech's glove provider, clearly forgot to change his delivery address and that resulted in the slightly awkward scenario of Cech's gloves being delivered by the delivery man at Chelsea's training ground a matter of days before the Blues face Arsenal at the Emirates in the Premier League.
Cech is still a legend at Chelsea regardless of last summer's controversial transfer, and so the Blues kindly forwarded the kit on to their former keeper's new address at Arsenal.
A look at the crystal ball could mean, victory being delivered via the gloves to Chelsea instead of Arsenal.
