Former Prez Kufuor's Convoy Involved In An Accident

The convoy of former President John Agyekum Kufuor was Thursday involved in an accident at Mango down near Patase, a suburb of Kumasi.

According to eyewitnesses the Police dispatch rider who was leading the convoy crashed into a 58 year old man on a bike who was coming from the opposite direction.

Spokesperson for the former president, Frank Agyekum in a telephone interview with Pulse.com.gh said, “The outrider of his [Prez Kufour] convoy had an accident but the president is not involved he is okay. A bike rider crossed the outrider and there was a collision between them; but both of them got up they are okay. Everybody in his convoy is okay."

Meanwhile the name of the biker has been given as Samuel Jayer. He was sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.
