Hundreds of students at the Komenda College of Education in the Central Region are protesting for the immediate removal of their principal, Comfort Korsah accusing her of charging unapproved fees.
The irate students who demonstrated on the school premises have thus threatened to boycott classes if their principal is not sacked.
According to them, the Osu College of Education is paying Ȼ646.00, Ola College of Education is paying Ȼ861.00, Holy Child College of Education is paying Ȼ796.00 whilst they are paying 1,218.00. Meanwhile all students have threatened not to pay the new fees describing them as open thievery.
In the meantime, authorities of the school are yet to comment on the matter as the Ghana Education Service is investigating the development to strike a neutral balance.
