Former 2012 flagbearer for the People's National Convention (PNC), Hassan Ayariga has formed his own political party termed the All People's Congress (APC), revealing the party remains his only ticket to contest the general elections come November 7th 2016.
Reports do indicate that the outspoken politician has also opened and registered over 170 offices nationwide to serve as party offices of the newly created (APC). Meanwhile sources within the newly created APC say the EC is expected to grant Mr Ayariga temporary licence to run the new party, as the electoral body verifies all processes of its formation.
This political move by Hassan Ayariga follows his defeat at the 2015 presidential and parliamentary primaries of the PNC - a development which saw the disgruntled candidate resign from the party (PNC) as he accused the party hierrachy of manipulating the electoral system against his victory.
The newly created APC is claimed to have its emblem unscripted with Green and cream with the sketch of a broom at the middle.
