General Manager of Ghanaian club, Accra Hearts of Oak, Gerald Ankrah has resigned from his position according to Pulse Sports.
According to the website Mr. Ankrah sent his resignation letter to the club’s secretariat on Monday afternoon.
He cited personal reasons for his decision.
1“I can confirm that Gerald Ankrah has resigned from his post as the club’s MD, he brought his resignation letter to the club’s office today afternoon. The club’s board is yet to meet on it,” the source told Pulse Sports Ghana.
Ankrah got appointed as Managing Director of the club in 2014 and he came under severe pressure when the club’s nearly got relegated last season.
Accra Hearts of Oak placed 14 on the Ghana Premier League in the just ended season.
