Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini has revealed that he will stand for president of the republic in 2028, all things being equal.
He made the revelation on Citi FM’s Traffic Avenue programme on Monday. The award winning musician said: “If everything goes as I have planned, I should be president in 2028.” According to Samini, he believes he has the capacity and ability to run the country.”
“In 2028, I will be 44, I believe I can run a nation. I will start with being the MP for my hometown, maybe. A young man like me, after the things I have seen in other countries, will not sit there to be bribed,” he opined.
The leader of the High Grade Family said his government will not make room for thievery and corrupt officials.
“When I become president, I will sack every minister who does not get to work on time.”
Samini is out with his new album, ‘Breaking News’.
The dancehall artiste last week smoked the peace pipe with his arch-rival, Shatta Wale on live radio.
The two artiste have been at loggerheads over who is the king of dancehall music in Ghana.
