Ghana winger Christian Atsu has joined Spanish La Liga side Malaga on a season-long loan move from Chelsea.
Atsu’s move comes on the back of an unsuccessful loan spell at Premiership side, Bournemouth.
He is expected to be an integral member of Javi Garcia’s squad as the former Porto man is set to fill the void left by Dutch winger Nordin Amrabat who departed for Watford in this transfer window.
Atsu has been promised regular playtime by Malaga who lie 12th on the league table with 24 points after 21-games.
The Black Stars’ player joined Chelsea from Porto in the summer of 2013.
The former Porto winger has 42 caps for Ghana and has two more years to run on his Chelsea contract.
