Kenya's President, Uhuru Kenyatta to join Ghana for 6th March celebrations

This year's 6th March anniversary celebrations is expected to see Kenya's president, Uhuru Kenyatta as the special guest of honour.

The invitation was made known when President Mahama presented letters of credence to the immediate past director of state Protocol Ambassador Kwame Tenkorang who now resumes duties as Ghana’s ambassador to Kenya. President John Mahama tasked his new ambassador to immediately work towards making the visit a success.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Kwame Tenkorang comes to the job with 40 years of experience as a diplomat and is thus expected to deepen bilateral ties between Ghana and Kenya.
