Government registers 90 Syrian refugees

About ninety Syrian refugees have so far been officially registered by the Ghana Refugees Board since the war in Yemen.

The registration is documented to have emanated from the sheltering of Syrian refugees by government in the beginning the year through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration as Project Director of Refugee Board, Tetteh Padi explains, his outfit is yet to register any new arrivals since the announcement.

Meanwhile Government has insisted that all Syrian refugees in Ghana are to be fully catered for by family members.
