Police men were on the scene to ensure peace and order. Reports say the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Meanwhile the head of corporate affairs of Unilever, Gabriel Opoku Asare told Starrfmonline.com the situation has been brought under control.
He allayed fears that the fire will affect their business since it only affected one of their warehouses.
"It was not the full warehouse. Thankfully, no one got injured. It did not affect our production line and would not affect our service. Our safety team is also on site and everything is under control," he noted.
