CPP's Ivor Greenstreet can make Nov. elections end in run-off - Ben Ephson predicts

Pollster and elections expert, Ben Ephson is predicting that  flagbearer-elect of the Conventions Peoples Party (CPP), Ivor Greenstreet has the potential of making the November elections end in a run-off.

Commenting on the massive victory chalked by Ivor Greenstreet in the just ended presidential primaries of the CPP, Ben Ephson expressed that the victory of Mr Greenstreet brings a new dimension into Ghana's political scene.

Mr. Greenstreet garnered a whooping 1,288 votes of the 1,992 valid votes to beat his closest contender, Samia Nkrumah who came a distant second with 579 votes in the Saturday polls of the Nkrumahist party. The contestants  were Joseph Agyapong – 83 and Bright Akwetey 42 votes;  a major political achievement which makes him Ghana's first ever physicaly challenged presidential candidate since 1957.
