New York Red Bulls are said to be eagerly looking for a replacement for Matt Miazga who EPL side Chelsea snapped up in the January transfer.
Already the MLS side has set their sight on Ghanaian defender, Gideon Baah who plays for Finnish club, HJK.
The 24-year-old former Asante Kotoko player has seen some improvements in his game which saw Black Stars coach, Avram Grant hand him a call in a Ghana vrs Canada friendly in the absence of some key players.
Baah made the headlines recently when the local media linked him to Barcelona but it turned out to be a hoax eventually.
This time, he could be heading to the MLS because Red Bulls might find it pretty hard to get a good tackler from Ronald Zubar, Karl Ouimette and the injured Damien Perrinelle as their top centerback choices, but none comes anywhere close to the hard tackling innate and the wealth of experience he brings to the table.

Baah has already seven caps of European football in the UEFA Champs league competition and nine Europa matches for HJK. He has also played in 41 league matches for the club in his two years with the club, helping them win the 2015 League Cup in the process.
