- Court issues bench warrant for the arrest of musician, Wisa Greid for failing to appear in court
- Wisa claims he was in court but turned up late
- Lawyer Jerry Avenorgbor is still representing the troubled musician
An Accra Circuit court has ordered for the arrest of hip life artiste, Wisa Greid, after failing to appear in court, Friday.
The bench warrant comes after reports that his lawyers left him for failure to settle legal fees at the last hearing. Wisa is facing charges for exposing his genitals on stage at the ‘Decemba 2 Remember’ concert at the Accra International Conference Center on Christmas eve. Social media platforms were awash with videos of Wisa stripping and rubbing his manhood behind his female dancer on stage. That stage was the biggest ever the young artiste has had to hone his talent.
Meanwhile, the musician in an interview on TV3’s mid-day news disclosed that he was in court but he was late. He explained that he was in court with his lawyer Jerry Avenorgbor, who was absent during the last hearing on January 25. When asked of his next action following the bench warrant the judge, Abena Agyin Doku has issued for his arrest, Wisa retorted, “that is why I have a lawyer so they will deal with that”
