About 17 vehicles and 10 other containers have been gutted by fire at Club 600, a section of the Suame Magazine in the Ashanti Region, fire officials have revealed.
The fire outbreak, reported to have started in the early hours of Saturday morning is suspected to have been caused by a resident who upon setting fire to a heap of rubbish, had the fire spread to the very garage where the vehicles were parked - a development which finally saw the entire garage including all 17 cars burnt down completely.

Fire fighters who reported at the scene hours after the outbreak had a tough time putting out the flames as eyewitnesses say the fire was consumed by both electronic and chemical faults.
Meanwhile, the police have invited the said young man and the security men on duty as they (the two) assist with investigations.
The recent fire outbreak adds up to several other outbreaks reported to have claimed goods and property in the area as the Ghana Fire Service reveals the unfortunate development is due to the poor electrification projects in the area and also the weak management and prevention of fires by both workers and residents.
