Gospel singer, Cwesi Oteng has jumped to Bishop Obinim’s defense on an interview he granted that went viral last week.
In the interview, the man of God is seen saying that he has the spiritual powers of turning into a snake and Jesus turning into a lion. Defending the man of God, Cwesi Oteng took to his Instagram account to warn those mocking and condemning the ‘man of God’ for his revelation. He claims slander is the only weapon Satan has to use against men of God.
His comments obviously created controversy and attracted criticism from some of his fans, who were not pleased about the singer supporting bishop Obinim’s rants. While some expressed the shock at him supporting Obinim, others were left to wonder why he, Cwesi Oteng would come to Obinim’s defense. Cwesi Oteng has since taken to Instagram to delete the supposed post that created the controversy
Cwesi Oteng launched into the gospel industry with his mercy project album. He later made a hit with his “I Be God I dey bless me and Kabiyesi tracks ”. He has been in the news on accounts of winning awards and also for calling on fellow gospel musicians to boycott the 4stye Music video awards as in his opinion, it is not credible.
