Neymar could stay at Barca
Barcelona forward Neymar is expected to extend his contract at Barcelona, with club vice president Carles Vilarrubi claiming he is "certain" the Brazilian forward will remain at the Camp Nou.
Arsenal loses target
Arsenal have been tracking Schalke defender Benedikt Howedes but the player has extended his contract with the Bundesliga side. The Gunners now turn to the signing of Sofiane Boufal from Lille.
Liverpool have announced they will throw away the controversial new ticket pricing, and have gone ahead to release a detailed apology to supporters after fans walked out of Anfield in the 77th minute against Sunderland on Feb. 6 in protest.
Reds owners Fenway Sports Group released a lengthy statement on the club's official website on Wednesday night saying:
“It has been a tumultuous week. On behalf of everyone at Fenway Sports Group and Liverpool Football Club, we would like to apologise for the distress caused by our ticket pricing plan for the 2016-17 season.”
Beckham wants help
David Beckham is looking around to offer shares for someone to buy in Miami United FC in order to help fund the proposed Major League Soccer franchise, even if that means the former Manchester United and LA Galaxy player might not be a majority owner, according to a report in the Miami Herald.
The deal is expected to be around $300 million in funds required to secure a stadium site, build out a front office and sign players to the club, according to the report.

The Red Devils have made several attempts to sign the Argentine but the player wants to remain with Benfica.
Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta For Inter Milan
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the former coach of Manchester City, Roberto Mancini, wants to sign Man City duo and Pablo Zabalayeta.
Pep Guardiola wants sign Dimitri Payet, and Busquets
Guardiola’s top transfer targets include Payet who has publicly insisted he is happy to remain at West Ham.
Barcelona player Sergio Busquets also hints that Pep Guardiola could sign him for Manchester City.
In his interview for ESPN Busquets said: “I always said that there are only two people who can change my decision to play for Barcelona. One is my wife and the other is Guardiola. It’s clear that I have a big debt with him and it would be an honour to work with him again.But he knows that my club is Barcelona, I don’t think he’ll ask me to work for him.”
