Members of the British Indie Band, Voila Band have all been killed in a car accident in Sweden .
Prior to their accident, the band had hours earlier played their first gig outside the UK. The band were part of the line-up for Swedish music festival Where is the Music? on Friday and were due to play a gig in Guildford in Surrey on Saturday. Investigations have since been launched to find out the cause of the accident.
The UK band group is a four man band group that hails from Warrington, Cheshire. The group was formed in May 2015 is made up of Kris Leonard on guitar and lead vocal; River Reeves on guitar; Tomas Lowe on bass and Jack Dakin on drums.
The Boys band released their debut single Swings & Waterslides last year and put out their second single Boys That Sing on 22 January. They have played several BBC Introducing Sessions and have performed at the Reading and Leeds Festival in 2015.
According to swedish police have told the BBC there were two sets of safety barriers in place on the bridge, red warning lights were flashing, and other drivers were waiting. The band's car fell through a gap which had opened to let a boat pass through, police said.
Officers are examining the car to try to find the cause of the crash, which happened at about 02:30 local time (01:30 GMT) near Stockholm.
The Warrington band were in Sweden to take part in a music festival on Friday and were due to play a gig in Guildford in Surrey on Saturday.
