- Students of the Katanga and Unity halls of KNUST have clashed in a feud
- Two students have been stabbed and receiving emergency treatment with several others injured
- The cause of the clash is feared to be over the control of students' affairs by both halls
Clashes between students of the Katanga and Unity halls of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has resulted in the stabbing of two students with twenty others sustaining varied degrees of injury.
Media reports do indicate that the cause of the dispute between the two student-enemies remain unknown as school authorities remain reticent over the matter but eye-witnesses say the feud could have been sparked in the wake of the upcoming hall week celebrations by Unity hall.

The conflicts between both students have been documented over the years to be due to students' urge of control over the student affairs of the University. Meanwhile security personell are being stationed at the University to prevent any bloody clashes.
