- Hundreds mourn at late J.B’s one week event
-The alleged killer of the MP has been charged with murder and remanded in police custody.
-Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu was stabbed to death last week Tuesday in his bedroom at his residence in Accra.
The one week celebration for the late Abuakwa North NPP Member of Parliament, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was held today in his hometown in Akim Tafo in the Eastern region.
The event saw hundreds of people- relatives, politicians, town folks and sympathisers gather. The first vice chairman of the NPP in the Eastern region Alhaji Umar Bodinga and the DCE for East Akim Simon Peter Asirifi were all at the event to mourn with the family.
The deceased MP was stabbed exactly a week today in his bedroom around 1:00am at his Shiashie residence in Accra.

Meanwhile, in Accra at a Magistrate court, the alleged killer of the MP, Daniel Asiedu was charged for murder by the police in court.
The 19 year-old was remanded in police and will appear before the court on March 1, 2016.
