A maritime rescue team has saved over 100 passengers on who nearly died on a sinking ferry at Yeji on the Volta Lake.
Passengers reveal that the pontoon boat they were travelling on subsequently started to drown when water filled it - at development which saw the boat starting to tumble down the river. The boat was carrying traders returning home after trading on the other side of the river.
No casualty has so far been recorded as two marine rescue teams have so far completed the rescue mission.
