Finance minister, Seth Terkper has expressed concern over what he describes as Ghana's weak Property Tax System.
In his Tweet on Social Media, the frustrated finance minister who critics say remains the best authority to tackle the Property Tax System especially when it comes to commercial properties.

It remains unclear the hidden motive behind his Tweet but expectations have it that his comments could mean a rise in Ghana's property tax.
Ghana's weak property tax systems have undergone several reformations recently been President Mahama's order to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to ensure that all streets in the country are named.
Meanwhile the new tax regime also holds that income derived from the sale of low cost affordable residential premises, approved by Minister for Works and Housing for the first 5 years, will attract a tax of 1 percent.
