An estate developer, Prince Horace Allotey has been arranged before court and charged for defrauding 27 prospective tenants at a tune of GH₵ 24, 883.00.
According to court records, Mr Allotey defrauded the said tenants with the false promise of renting out his three bedrooms to them - a development which has seen him charged by false pretense according to Section 131 of Act 26/30.
The said fraudster subsequently pleaded guilty to the charges and has thus been granted bail as the case has been adjourned to February 25, 2016.
Mr Allotey has been charged for collected from Kingsley Obalim GHC 960.00, Vicent Allotey GHC 600.00, Belinda Dogbetse GHC 900, Joseph Sackey GHC 840.00, Alice Amaley Amartefio GHC 600 and Vincent Allotey GHC 600. The rest are Anita Otoo, GHC 720.00, Florence Grippman GHC 960.00, David Ekech GHC 845.00, Vida Abiti GHC 720, Gifty Kotey GHC 1,000.00, Kofi Lewis, GH 2,080, Jose Donkor GHC 720.00, Paul Arhin GHC 1,000.00, George Wiredu GHC 792.00, Kingsley Assabil GHC 700.00 and Isaac Amoah GHC 720.00.
