- The actress says going forward, she will curse anyone who peddles rumours about her
Kumawood actress, Mercy Aseidu has refuted claims that she has endorsed President Mahama and the NDC government.
Denying the rumours which made news last week, Mercy noted that the publication is not true and neither has she collected money to campaign for the NDC in the upcoming elections.
In an interview on Entertainment Circle with DJ Raw, actress revealed that she has decided to invoke curses on anyone who intends to destry her reputation , rather than trying to defend herself on such issues .
Readers are reminded that last Friday, there were media publications indicating that the actress had joined the ruling party, National Democratic Congress, NDC and was alleged to have collected money from the government to endorse President John Dramani Mahama .
The publication of endorsement emerged online after the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, met a section of movie players in Kumasi to brief them on road maps to help the movie industry.
After the said forum, speculations started flying that some key personalities in the movie industry had endorsed President John Mahama, to which Mercy Asiedu was alleged to have collected an undisclosed money from the Minister.
Mercy is one of the many talents to emerge out of the Kumawood Industry. She is noted for the TIGO Tv commercial on "the drop that yam series".
