Abraham Attah dazzles on Oscars red carpet

Ghanaian actor and 2016 Academy Awards presenter,  Abraham Attah  made an impressive appearance on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The young lead actor of 'Beasts Of No Nation' made fashion statement that has people in Hollywood talking. 

According to the LA Times Abraham Attah made Oscar history by becoming the first actor to wear  the Toms Shoes brand  at the Academy Awards. The SoCal company has announced it will donate 10,000 pairs of shoes on the actor’s behalf to needy children in his home country of Ghana.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Abraham Attah was named best male lead at the 31st Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday. The Beasts of No Nation actor, who is 15 years old, beat out fellow actors Ben Mendelsohn (Mississippi Grind
), Christopher Abbott (James White), Jason Segel (The End of the Tour
) and Koudous Seihon (Mediterranea) for the honor.

According to the Hollywood Report, Abraham Attah thanked everyone from his fellow winner and co-star Idris Elbato the Netflix film’s director, Cary Fukunaga, to the costumedesigners when he took the stage.
