Passengers escape death in yet another accident on Techiman-Kintampo road

- Four vehicles have crushed at the Techiman-Kintampo road weeks after a fatal accident at the same location

- The accident have been described as less severe with passengers who sustained minor injuries treated and discharged

There has been yet another accident along the Techiman-Kintampo road involving four vehicles; an O.A. Yutong bus with registration number GT 3994-12, A DAF truck, a sprinter bus with registration number AS 2483-15 and a KIA Rhino with registration number AS 2033-15.

There has not been any fatalities recorded but several passengers on board a Yutong Bus have been admitted and discharged upon sustaining minor injuries.

“The Yutong bus which was traveling from Kumasi to the north was traveling at a high speed and in an attempt to overtake, the driver veered off his lane to hit the tomato truck,”  an eyewitness has revealed explaining that before the accident involving the Yutong bus and the tomato truck, there was an earlier accident at the same place involving a Sprinter and a KIA Rhino with the police on the scene directing traffic.

Meanwhile the police have cordoned off the accident scene as investigations remain pending into the actual cause of the accident.
