Child Actor Abraham Attah has expressed his gratitude to director of the movie “Beast of No Nation”, Cary Fukunaga for changing his life
In a post on his Instagram account, the young Ghanaian celebrity noted that Cary’s decision to choose him to play the role of Agu in the movie marked a change in his life. He also expressed gratitude to everyone and especially the crew and cast on the movie for their guidance on his journey to stardom.
In a related development, the 15-year-old actor, Abraham Attah who is currently enjoying a lot of media attention and basking in the glory of making Ghana proud at the Oscars is the toast of all social media platforms. He keeps receiving congratulatory messages and more mentions and follows on social media.
The latest of the congratulatory messages is from the President, John Dramani Mahama, the USA Embassy in Ghana and fellow actors.
On Tuesday, President John Mahama took to his twitter handle to congratulate the young Abraham who recently won Best Male Lead for ‘Beasts Of No Nation’; his first role ever, at the 2016 Independent Spirits Awards.
Next was the USA Embassy In Ghana which also took to their social media handle to congratulate Abraham who also received a standing ovation at the just ended Oscars.
Abraham who joined his fellow young actor, Jacob Tremblay, to present an award at the 2016 Oscars has also received congratulatory messages from fellow actors like John Dumelo, Ama K Abebrese, Yvonne Okoro and Kweku Elliot. Most of the messages from fellow actors appreciated his achievements and noted that he is basking in the dream they have been looking up to.
For the past months, the young actor has been globetrotting and gracing many world stages from the Venice Film Festival to the Oscars. He was received the Best Male Actor at the Spirits awards before heading to the Oscars to present an award. He has met many A list celebrities including Morgan Freeman and Sylvestor Stallone.
