- William Ocloo died on Thursday in a motor accident on the Juaso-Kumasi road

- He beat the incumbent, David Tetteh Assumeng and two others Dr Kpessah Whyte and Ebenezer Adzakli in the parliamentary primaries

- The NDC might re-run the Shai Osudoku primaries

Mr Anthony Nukpenu, the NDC’s deputy Greater Accra regional Youth Organiser, has told Class FM that the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Shai Osudoku Constituency, William Ocloo is dead following an accident on Thursday, March 3.

He is reported to have died instantly as his car on which he was traveling got into a head-on crash with another vehicle on the Juaso-Kumasi road around 11pm as he drove to Kumasi.

Mr Ocloo out-polled the incumbent, David Tetteh Assumeng and two others Dr Kpessah Whyte and Ebenezer Adzakli in the parliamentary primaries.

A worried Mr Nukpenu told Class FM that, “our brother and parliamentary candidate for the Shai Osudoku constituency lost his life in a road accident”.

The NDC would by this latest development have to re-run the primary in the constituency to elect a new candidate for the November polls.
