The photos which shows the explicit sexual engagements of the gay men is feared to have gone viral across all towns in the Brong-Ahafo Region - a development which has seen security officials and traditional leaders mount an avid search for the en who have been declared missing after the incident.
There are suspicions that the men are from the town but traditional leaders there are disputing the claim. Meanwhile, traditional leaders have, however, issued a stern warning that anyone caught engaging in homosexual acts will be severely dealt with as the entire public express disgust over the incident.
Homosexuality remains illegal in Ghana. Although the 1992 Constitution remains unclear over the punishment of the act, homosexuals are thus forced to either practice their sexuality in the secrecy of their private lives or risk the rage and embarrassment of society.
