Three persons died on the spot when the mini urvan bus they were traveling on got involved in an accident at Asutsuare junction on Wednesday morning.

The mini bus with registration number, GN 4284-14 was heading from Ashaiman to Koforidua when it reportedly veered off the road and summersaulted between Asutsare and Shai Hills on the Tema-Akosombo Highway.
Accordimg to an eye-witness account, a mechanical fault in the ball joints of the vehicle was said to have caused the accident.
Some passengers on the said vehicle were said to have earlier complained to the driver that they were hearing an unusual noise under the car, which fell on the driver’s deaf ears.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Tema General Hospital Morgue while other passengers on board the vehicle who got injured are also undergoing treatment.
