-Suspects who attacked a Koala Salesgirl have pleaded not guilty of robbery charges
- The alleged robbers have argued that they did not confront the said salesgirl to rob her
All suspects who were involved in the attack on a Koala salesgirl at cantonments in Accra have pleaded not guilty of charges of robbery leveled against them.
Court reports do indicate that the two robbers have insisted that they did not confront the salesgirl to rob her - comments which has raised much controversy surrounding the attack.

The robbers, on January 8 this year, shot the Koala salesgirl on her way to deposit the previous day’s sales at the bank. While bolting, a brave driver rammed into the motorbike of the thieves, forcing them into a nearby drain.

The brave driver has since become a national hero receiving recognition from President John Mahama and other corporate organisations upon being honored with a plush two bedroom apartment and a brand new car.
