Bukom Banku arrested for assaulting woman

- The Accra Central Police arrested boxer Braimah Kamoko, alias Bukom Banku on Tuesday morning for allegedly assaulting a 21-year-old woman

- Bukom Banku allegedly beat Charlotte after she refused his love proposals

- An MRI X-ray report from Korle-bu Teaching Hospital has revealed the victim suffered from a fracture on the right side of her skull

-   Sources says the boxer is in police custody

The Accra Central police, on Tuesday morning, arrested popular Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Kamoko, aka Bukom Banku for assaulting a 21-year-old woman, Charlotte Dodoo.

According to a Pulse.com source,  the cruiserweight boxer who has become popular due to his famous boxing encounters with Ayittey Powers whom he defeated on both occasions,  is currently being kept at the Central Police station in Accra.

The boxer is alleged to have assaulted the said lady for refusing his love proposal to her in spite of the efforts he did to catch her attention.

Meanwhile, Charlotte who is reported to be cousin of the boxer, sought for medical care after she suffered a fracture on the right side of her skull.

An MRI X-ray report from the Radiology Department of the Korle-bu Teaching hospital, showed that the victim visited the facility for medical care on Thursday March 10, 2016 but the incident was reported to the police on Tuesday March 16, which led to his arrest.

The police are tight lipped on the incident, but our source confirmed that Banku has been detained at the Accra Central Police Station.
