Ghana's first Private Medical School, the Family Health Medical School, has been inaugurated by President John Dramani Mahama.

The school which also opened with the matriculation of its first batch of 16 students saw former presidents Jerry Rawlings and John Agyekum Kuffour grace the occasion

President John Mahama on Tuesday inaugurated the country's first Private Medical School in Accra.

President Mahama at the ceremony said government recognises the private sector participation in Tertiary Education, as it falls under the government transformational agenda.
