Six people are reported dead in a tragic accident on Thursday evening when a Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus with registration number GE-5526-15 on which they were travelling, collided with a Yutong bus with registration number GT-6454-10 at Gomoa-Buduatta junction on the Kasoa- Winneba road.
According to a report monitored on Adom FM, the Sprinter bus driver lost control of the steering wheel, resulting in the accident.
Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service who were quickly summoned, arrived at the scene of the accident and had to cut through parts of the Sprinter bus in order to rescue some of the injured passengers who were later conveyed to the Winneba Government Hospital for treatment.

Witnesses at the accident scene, said the Mercedes bus was said to be heading to Accra from Takoradi when it crashed with the Yutong bus around 10:00 pm.
