Freddie Blay at a press conference is alleging that president Mahama and his government is conspiring to bring harm in the way of the Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.
“We go as far as to say that the President and his government are deliberately allowing the life of his main competitor for the 2016 presidential race to be endangered. At this juncture it is important we disclose to the general public that the NPP has been receiving intelligence report over a period of time that some people allegedly sympathetic to the government are planning to harm our presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate and blame it falsely on an internal NPP attack,” he stated.
The accusation by Freddie Blay follows the recent arrest of three South African ex-policemen who were picked up while offering military drills to some youth of the NPP. The men have so far been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court.
