Easter festivities: Let's restore hope to Ghana - Nana Addo

-Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akuffo Addo says Ghanaians should use the Easter festivities to renew hope in Ghana's ailing economy

- Nana Addo in his Easter message to Ghanaians expressed the need for Ghana to harness the blessings of God for the development of the nation

- March 25 and 28 have all been declared statutory public holidays in commemoration of the Easter festivities

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has charged Ghanaians to use the Easter festivities as the suitable moment to renew hope in the country despite the economic hardships.

In a press release, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo expressed confidence of a prosperous Ghana only under the condition that Ghanaians harnessed the blessings bestowed upon the nation by God.

“For us in Ghana, the Easter festivities should be a time of renewed hope in the midst of the numerous challenges and economic difficulties confronting our country. Easter is the testimony of the possibility for a new life of hope. Thus, let us renew and strengthen our faith in God and continue to pray for a free and prosperous future for Ghana. I am confident that we can transform our nation and use all the blessings that the Almighty has bestowed on us to bring wealth to all our people, if we work at it," Nana Addo stated.

Meanwhile the Ministry of Interior has declared Friday, March 24 and Monday March 28 as statutory public holidays in commemoration of the Easter festivities.
