- TV and radio personality has fumed over the way(s) and manner at which pastors in Ghana go about their pastoral duties
- Afia Schwarzenegger in an Easter message charged Ghanaian pastors to stop the commercialization of Christianity
Controversial television and radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has condemned some pastors in Ghana for the means by which they go about their pastoral duties.
In what used to be her Easter message to Ghanaian men of God on her Instagram page, the outspoken comedienne charged pastors in Ghana to "stop to the nonsense of turning the house of God into Kumasi zoo, selling of solution water."
"Dear men of God The son of God has risen...can u all put a stop to the nonsense of turning the house of God into kumasi zoo, selling solution water instead of bragging about the power of the blood of Jesus, fake prophecies, sleeping with church members and calling yourselves stupid names so there will be peace???You can call it a warning cos we won't tolerate any Imbecility in the name of Jesus Christ," Afia Schwarzenegger fumed.
The comments of Afia Schwarzenegger follows recent attacks on pastor and founder of the International God's Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim who boasted of his ability to turn into a snake and bite his enemies. The controversial pastor had also mounted a smear campaign on the head pastor of the Royal House Chapel, Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah after the latter accused him of being a magician rather than a pastor.
