- Controversial local pastor, Daniel Obinim has had his television station, OB TV taken off air by the National Communications Authority (NCA)
- The closure of OB TV follows the closure of 10 other stations which have not met the basic standards of operations of the NCA
The National Communications Authority (NCA) has taken off air OB TV, the television channel owned by controversial local pastor, Daniel Obinim.
The closure according to the NCA is because the said station does not meet the basic requirement of operation by any television station. Also ten other television channels including Kessben TV, Angel TV, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom's ATV and Capital TV have all been pulled down by K-Net under the instruction of the NCA.
OB TV is noted to have gained media attention in recent times following live broadcast by Pastor Obinim stating his capacity to turn into an animal and also enlarge the private parts of church members.
The regulator has warned a lot more channels will be taken down in the coming days.
