The government of Ghana has signed agreement an agreement with GenKey Solutions for data collection of poor households in Ghana.
Nana Oye Lithur, Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection has announced that the ministry has signed contractual agreement with GenKey Solutions for data collection of poor households in Ghana.
She made the announcement via Twitter on Monday morning.

GenKey Solutions are experts in biometrics and have helped millions of people in Africa, and other emerging markets, to identify who they are based on their own biometric data. Together with partners, the company delivers large scale biometric identity programs, with particular experience in national elections and healthcare.
GenKey is headquartered in the Netherlands, with offices in Africa (Ghana) and the US (Chicago). In 2011 a merger between the former GenKey and priv-ID BV, a spin-off from Philips Research, created the new GenKey.
