The Bureau for National Investigations (BNI) is interrogating the Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Nana Attobrah Quaicoe in connection with the controversy surrounding the deported South African ex-police officers.

The three South Africans have been deported after they were arrested and detained by the BNI but the investigative body is questioning Mr. Quaicoe over the institute’s involvement in bringing the ex-servicemen to the country. Quaicoe who turned himself in on Monday also sustained a foot injury while in the custody of the state investigative body.
The three embattled ex South African police officers, who were arrested two weeks ago in the Central Region for allegedly engaging in activities with national security implications, have so far been deported to their home country.
