The groom who was arrested on his wedding day for allegedly robbing a Chinese national to the tune of GHȼ18,000 has pleaded guilty to the crime.
The accused, Aaron Acquah, pleaded 'guilty with explanation' to the charge of robbery at the Prestea Magistrate Court on Monday, Graphic.com.gh reported on Tuesday, citing the Chronicle.
He was consequently remanded into prison custody to reappear on May 3, 2016.
The groom received the shock on his life during his wedding on Saturday when police officials showed up to arrest him for allegedly robbery.
His bride, Rebecca Buah, reportedly collapsed as the wedding came to an abrupt end.
