Otumfuo visits Kotoko players at training

After the drama that occurred Tuesday morning in the camp of the Kumasi based club, Asante Kotoko, the life patron and owner of the club Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II paid an unannounced visit to the Adako Jachie training this evening.

The Kotoko team which failed to train at its regular training grounds this morning because they wanted to avoid coach David Duncan who management have asked to step aside Sunday night returned to the Adako Jachie grounds Tuesday evening.

The Asantehene during the visit urged the players to put behind them the poor round of results an begin winning matches for him (Otumfuo).

The Asantehene assured the players of his total support, saying that, no one loves the club more than he does. He noted that he still had massive confidence in the players. “I want you to win your matches,” he demanded.

Later after the team's training, the locks to the grounds were changed to ensure that the 'sacked' coach, David Duncan do not have access to the training pitch again.
