Indian women provides borehole water to Adoagyiri residents

Residents of Adoagyiri-Zongo in the Eastern Region heaved a sigh of relief when a mechanised borehole was inaugurated last Saturday to provide them with water.

Indian Women Association of Ghana (IWAG) have inaugurated a mechanized borehole project at a cost of GH¢20,000 for residents of Adoagyiri-Zongo, in the Eastern Region on Saturday, April 2.

For now residents who had to walk long distances to fetch water in nearby communities would heave a sigh of relief the after the provision of the two boreholes.

Ben Ohene Ayeh, the Municipal Chief Executive of Nsawam Adoagire Municipal Assembly (NAMA), who was present at the ceremony thanked Mrs Surinder Cheeme, president of IWAG and her members.

Chief Bashiru Salifu, the Zongo chief on behalf of the community, thanked the donors and wished them bountiful blessings from Allah.
